The unisex Hedgerow Fingerless Mittens use two colors of DK weight wool and are knitted in traditional Fair Isle technique. No long floats! Suitable for intermediate knitters familiar with Fair Isle technique and working from charts.
Two sizes given: 8” palm circumference for average adult female hands and 8 5/8” for average adult male or extra large female hands.
GAUGE: 28 sts x 28 rows over 4” / 10cm for average female size; 26 sts x 26 rows over 4” / 10 cm for average male size.
NEEDLES: Depending upon which size you knit, anywhere from US 2 / 3.0mm to US 4 / 3.50mm suggested. Use whatever size you need to get your targeted gauge.
