Polar Chullo is a Fair Isle technique design using five different colors of fingering weight 100% Shetland wool yarn knit at a tighter-than-usual gauge to achieve an extra warm, highly detailed hat. With a finished circumference slightly over 21" / 54 cm, it's sized to fit most adult heads. Suitable for intermediate knitters familiar with Fair Isle technique and working from charts
GAUGE: 36 sts x 36 rows = 4" / 10cm.
NEEDLES: US #1 / 2.25mm for main portion; US #0 / 2.00 for trim.
