GAUGE: 32 sts and 36 rows = 4” / 10cm in stranded stockinette stitch.
NEEDLES: If you knit loosely, try US size 1 / 2.25mm for the trim and US size 2 / 2.75mm for the main sections. If you knit tightly, try US size 2 / 2.75mm for the trim and US size 3 / 3.25mm for the main section. Use whatever size needle gets the above gauge.
YARN: Six 25g balls of Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift 100% Shetland wool fingering / jumper weight yarn, 115 yds / 105 m per ball:
One 25g ball of each of six colors (pebble, wild violet, damask, purple haze, twilight and mist, as shown.)
