Ladies’ Fair Isle style mittens. Finished palm circumference = 8”, to fit average adult female hands. Suitable for intermediate knitters familiar with Fair Isle technique and working from charts.
GAUGE: 36 sts and 38 rows = 4” / 10cm in stranded stockinette stitch.
NEEDLES: If you knit loosely, try US size 1 / 2.25mm - 2.50mm. If you knit tightly, try US size 2 / 2.75mm. Use whatever size needle you need to get the above gauge.
YARN: Four 25g balls of Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift 100% Shetland wool fingering / jumper weight yarn, 115 yds / 105 m per ball:
Two 25g balls of the Natural White and two 25g balls of Leprechaun.
