Super quick (just 30 rounds) + super warm (super bulky wool) + super chart (short repeat, no long floats) = just about as much instant gratification as you’re apt to find in these parts. Have fun! Sized to fit average adult heads when knit with suggested super bulky gauge; use a finer gauge (regular bulky) yarn for hats to fit children.
GAUGE: 12 sts and 14 rows = 4” / 10cm in stranded stockinette stitch
NEEDLES: US #11 / 8.0mm suggested
YARN: Samples were knit with two contrasting 100g balls of Dale Garn Hubro 100% pure new wool, a super bulky wool yarn which has been discontinued. You can use most any smooth, solid, super bulky yarn that strikes your fancy and gives you the same gauge. Hubro’s weight was 72 yds / 66 m per 3½ oz / 100g ball.
